I have been involved, as a town planner, in the creation of Parklands in this region as part of my work with the Albury Wodonga Development Corporation since 1974.

In more recent times I have completed a post graduate diploma in environmental management (at LaTrobe University) and this has helped highlight for me the increasing importance of biodiversity and cultural protection requirements.

The ability to address the communities needs on these and related issues will be a continuing challenge for the Parklands Board.

Since retiring, I held the position of Secretary / Treasurer and in March 2010 I became Chairman. I also act as Community Representative and Co-Chairperson of the Bonegilla Migrant Experience Steering Committee.
