Baranduda Landcare Group:

Activities include nestbox monitoring (1pm 3 May & 24 Aug), 9th National Tree Day (10am 27 July), Swainsona survey (10am 21 Sept), 11th Annual “Up the Duda Awareness Wildflower & Weed ID (10am 5 Oct), 5th annual Birdscaping Your Garden walk (1pm 19 Oct), Possum & Glider Spotlighting (7.30pm 31 Oct), Bird Survey (8.30am 1 Nov) & Feral Feast (15 Nov)

Friends of  Padman Park:

It was with great dexterity and determination that our Summer Rangers and volunteers bulldozed the steep Hawthorn-infested slopes above the Murray River trail with nothing more than bowsaws and loppers this summer.  The slopes were too steep for machinery and even for safely operating chainsaws! 

10am Wednesdays (ring to confirm meeting place) and last   Sunday of May, July, & September & 1st Sunday March 2009.

Eastern Hill / Mungabareena:

Activities include clearing rubbish, woody weeds,  track and boardwalk repairs.  Volunteers needed to assist with School Tree Planting days at on Thurs 5 June and 21 July to 1st August.

10am 1st Wednesday of month, at Rotary Lookout, Eastern Hill

Huon Hillbillies:

9am 1st Friday of month at Summit Picnic area

McFarlanes Hill:

1pm 1st Monday of month at Ridge Track Head car-park

Gateway Island:

Hume Building Society will participate in their 5th year of the Growing Green Offset Program this winter.  Revegetation also planned for the Western section of Gateway Island this winter.

Last Sunday of June & August or whenever suits your group.

Hume & Hovell Track :

Track maintenance & weed control mainly  focused at Eight Mile Reserve, Thurgoona.  Erosion control measures to be    trialled.  1st Tuesday of month

Bonegilla Rail Trail Advisory Group:

Restoration of the Ebden Railway Platform is underway with Wodonga APEX.  Rabbit baiting scheduled for coming months so keep your dogs on leashes

Tallangatta Rail Trail Advisory Group:

Stay tuned for date of opening of Old Tallangatta Lookout  walking track.  TAG are looking to purchase a small tractor.
