"The Fast 7"
1) How long have you been at volunteer at Parklands? "I started with Parklands in July of 2006 and Tuesday is the usual day that I volunteer."
2) How did you first find out about Parklands? "The Albury Wodonga Volunteer Resource Bureau in Hume St, Albury informed me of the volunteer options and opportunities at Parklands."
3) What have you gained out of your time at Parklands? "I have learnt to fence, and I have seen and learnt a lot about our surrounding hills and recreational areas."
4) What is your favourite memory of your time with Parklands? "My favourite memory is a day I spent planting trees and shrubs on Huon Hill. I also enjoyed working on one of Parklands latest projects which was the installation of a metal post and rail fence near Felltimber Creek Road."
5) What is your favourite activity? " I am really interested in gardening so I enjoy planting and doing revegetation work."
6) What is your least favourite activity? "I don't really enjoy fencing in the summer months, it is too hot. I helped with some fencing on Federation Hill over the summer and there was not a lot of shade up there."
7) Any comments? "It is really good to see an organisation like Parklands Albury Wodonga in existence. The improvements they make to natural areas are great and by volunteering with them I have found new areas around Albury Wodonga to have a look at."
