Albury-Wodonga Corporation
The Albury-Wodonga Corporation has been an active, long term stakeholder in the development of the Albury Wodonga Regional Parklands. In what was an ambitious regional parklands projects, the Corporation kick-started the project by transferring 1,720 hectares, valued at more than $4.4 million, into public ownership in perpetuity: 1,379 hectares to the Victorian Government and 341 hectares of hilltop land to Wodonga City Council.

AlburyCity
parklands is partnering AlburyCity, and the community in the environmental restoration of a range of bush reserves and natural areas. This includes Padman - Mates Park, East Albury, Mungabareena Reserve, Remnant Roadside Vegetation projects and Albury Land Fill.
Padman-Mates park is one of Parklands’ successes in terms of partnering with a key stakeholder and involving the community. Council is providing valuable cash and in-kind support in administration and resources for on-ground works through an annual core funding grant and further support.
