Guiding Principles

The Board will achieve its vision by:

• developing policy in accordance with best practice social, ecological and recreational principles
• considering the needs of present and future generations in all policy decisions,
• ensuring that the community has appropriate input into all strategic planning and policy development
• facilitating a common public vision for the development and management of the Parklands in order to ensure community 'ownership'
• ensuring Parklands achieves financial substainability, and
• ensuring all Board members are highly motivated and well informed.
