Greening Mungabareena Reserve

As part of the National Tree Day celebrations, more than 400 local school students will be assisting with native grass and understorey shrub plantings at Mungabareena Reserve during July and August.

Parklands Indigenous Green Corp team members will train and support school students in planting out exotic grasslands in an effort to create habitat for endangered bird species in the area.

Albury City Council is also sponsoring Greening Australia to run the Ecological Footprint Schools Program at Albury High School as part of this project.
