National Tree Day Events at Huon Hill, Padman Park and Baranduda

Parklands Albury Wodonga together with Friends of Padman-Mates Park, Australian Taxation Office Green Team, Baranduda Landcare Group invite you to join in tree planting on Sunday 1 August 2010.
WHERE: Huon Hill Parklands, Kenneth Watson Drive, Wodonga WHEN: 10:00am to midday followed by BBQ lunch DIRECTIONS: Head east from Wodonga's CBD on the Murray Valley Highway. At the Wodonga Saleyards(Whytes Road) turn left onto the gravel Whytes Road then right into Kenneth Watson Drive and continue on this gravel road up the ridge to Hidden Valley. Look out for signs at the meeting area.
WHERE: Padman-Mates Park, Day Street, Albury WHEN: 10:00am to midday followed by BBQ lunch DIRECTIONS: Meet at the carpark on the corner of Day Street and Padman Drive, West Albury. If you arrive late, follow the Murray Vista walking track that runs parallel to Day Street to near the playground area.
WHERE: Baranduda WRENS, Boyles Road, Baranduda WHEN: 9:30am to 2pm followed by BBQ lunch DIRECTIONS: Turn north off Baranduda Boulevard into Boyes Rd (adjacent to Westmont Aged Care), travel 750 metres along Boyes Road then turn left into Avalon Road and follow the signs to the meeting area.
WHAT TO BRING: • Wear old clothes • Closed shoes as the ground is uneven with some gradient. • Refreshments (water) • Please note, there are no toilet facilities on site.
WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED: All tools, equipment, materials & gloves (unless you want to bring your old favourite garden gloves). BBQ lunch will include sausages, rissoles, bread & sauce. If you have special dietary requirements, please BYO.
REGISTRATIONS: Just turn up on the day
