Sandy Creek Bridge Opening

Join one of four rides, from either Tallangatta (the main ride), Tangambalanga, Bonegilla or Bandiana and pedal your way to Sandy Creek bridge for the official opening.

Alternatively, don your running shoes to either hike 3km or join the 10km bridge run from Huon Reserve, Murray Valley Highway, Huon to the Narrows and back to Sandy Creek bridge in time for the official opening.

Former Tallangatta resident Andrew Kimber and his local band, "Burwang River" will entertain you with the first performance of their "Sandy Creek Bridge" song.  The Tallangatta Museum will be open all afternoon with displays and videos of trains on the former Wodonga to Cudgewa Railway Line.
