The trail originally followed alongside Old Sydney road from Ettamogah Road northward. It now traverses Six-Mile Creek, Eight-Mile Creek and a portion of Bells Reserve and provides a more interesting and aesthetic walk. The relocation work involved representatives from Riverina Institute of TAFE, Charles Sturt University and parklands and entailed the erection of style, bridges, signage and track preparation.
