Friends of Parklands celebrate a year of achievements

Friends of Parklands volunteers got together with Parklands staff on Wednesday 20th December 2006 to celebrate our acheivements on the ground over the past year.

It was also a get together to farewell our Right Hand Man, Mr Ian McKie who has been volunteering with Parklands for nearly three years.  Thank you to Ian for more than 1,000 hours of effort, enthusiasm and commitment to OUR regional parklands.

Check out the Get Involved section of this website for dates and details of volunteering activities scheduled for 2007.  With lots of people just doing a few hours each, we can collectively achieve a lot.  Mr H Ford decribes teamwork as "the seemingly unattainable is achieved through the efforts of many, working towards a common goal".
