Clean Up Australia Day

Parklands Albury Wodonga and Albury City Council invite you to join us on Clean Up Australia Day.

SUNDAY 22 FEBRUARY - BORDER BUSHWALKERS CLEAN UP PADDLE

Border Bushwalkers and Parklands join forces for the annual Clean Up Paddle from Mungabareena Reserve to Noreil Park. Bookings essential.

SUNDAY 1 MARCH 2009 (10am to midday)- FRIENDS OF PADMAN PARK

Friends of Padman-Mates Park have been getting together for the past eight years to clean up this section of the Murray River.  Most of the rubbish that we find these days has been washed down drains into the Bungabrawartha Creek which flows into the Murray River upstream of Mates Park. Gloves, bags and refreshments provided.  Meet anytime from 10am at the corner of Day Street and Padman Drive, West Albury.

SUNDAY 1 MARCH 2009 (1pm to 3pm) - MUNGABAREENA

Parklands is seeking local residents interested in getting together once a fortnight (or monthly) to further enhance the popular Mungabareena - Eastern Hill Parklands.  Rock on down on Sunday and let us know what day and time suits you.

Rubbish bags, gloves and refreshments provided at the Boat Ramp at Mungabareena Reserve.  The boat ramp is located just after the cattle grids at the base of Eastern Hill end of Mungabareena Reserve.

Thank you to Albury City Council for providing skips at the above sites.
