NEW STRATEGIC DIRECTION...

At a strategic level, we welcome aboard new honorary Board members; David Mitchell, David Sexton, Bernie Evan, Darryl Betteridge, Terry Hillman and Simon.  The experience of continuing board members John Alker-Jones, Cliff Swatton, Hamish McLelland, Craig McIntyre and Kevan Porter is greatly valued. 

Thank you to Brian Scantlebury for his many years of involvement with parklands.  The Chairman's baton was passed to Hamish McLelland, our Parks Victoria representative, at the February 2009 Board meeting.

The new year also brings with it new energy and lots of strategic thinking as the honorary Board review parklands strategic direction.

Thank you to the Internal Review team; Cliff Swatton, Bernie Evans, David Sexton and David Mitchell for their considerable time interviewing all our stakeholders.  We are appreciative of our stakeholders' time and candid responses.

parklands is a member of the Parks Forum, the peak body for the Park Management Industry in Australia and New Zealand. In May, three Park Management experts from Aukland, Brisbane and Hobart will be travelling to Albury Wodonga to spend a week undertaking a Peer Review. 

We look forward to implementing the outcomes of these reviews.
