National Threatened Species Day - 2nd Sept 2010

Parklands Albury Wodonga together with Department of Sustainability and Environment and Riverina Institute of TAFE – National Environment Centre invite you to join in the planting of the threatened Swainsona Pea during National Threatened Species Week.

 

WHERE:    Swainsona Reserve Parklands, Felltimber Creek Road, West Wodonga
WHEN:      10:00am to Midday Thursday 2 September 2010 followed by BBQ lunch
DIRECTIONS:  Head west from Wodonga's CBD on Pearce Street, which becomes Felltimber Creek Road.  The Swainsona Reserve carpark is 6km west of the Melrose Drive / Pearce Street roundabout.

WHAT TO BRING:
• Wear old clothes
• Closed shoes as the ground is uneven with some gradient.
• Refreshments (water)
• Please note, there are no toilet facilities on site.

WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED:  All tools, equipment, materials & gloves (unless you want to bring your old favourite garden gloves).  BBQ lunch will include sausages, rissoles, bread & sauce.  If you have special dietary requirements, please BYO.
