SUMMARY:Invasive Grass ID and Removal at Bandiana
DESCRIPTION:Help us protect our precious native grasslands by learning how to identify whiskey grass and African love grass as well as the various techniques to control these new and emerging grass weed species. \nThese highly competitive exotic grasses form dense\, flammable stands and are nearly unpalatable for livestock. \nWe will walk along the High Country Rail Trail\, building our grass ID skills along the way\, then chip out and bag these invasive weeds. \nWhen: 9:00 am to 11:00 am. \nWhere: Park at the back of the Army Cinema car park next to the Blazing Stump Hotel.  \nWhat is supplied: All tools and any specific safety equipment needed. \nWhat to bring: BYO drinking water.
