The Wodonga Creek Nature Trail is closer to reality after Parklands rangers completed a number of infrastructure installations this week.

Works included the installation of vehicle and pedestrian gates to allow public access to the trail. Fences were extended to prevent unwanted livestock movement along the creek – an important element allowing vegetation restoration and preventing erosion.

The Trail will eventually link Gateway Island walking track to the Kiewa River Nature Trail via Browns Island (see map below).
