Whistle Stop High Tea 2026

Back by popular demand is this gourmet bike ride on the High Country Rail Trail, with spectacular views of Lake Hume and the hills beyond.
The ride is 24 km from Huon Reserve, over the Sandy Creek Bridge, along the shoreline of Lake Hume to Tallangatta and return.
Bike riders leave Huon Reserve, off the Murray Valley Highway, at 1:30 pm. Registration from 1 pm.
A light lunch will be provided at Tallangatta with a traditional 1950’s style high tea served at the Sandy Creek Bridge on the return journey.
Tickets: Adult $40, Child 12 – 16 years $10, Children under 12 free, Family group $80 (2 adults, 2 children over 12).
Bookings WILL CLOSE Friday 15th May 4 pm to allow for event catering.
