The bridge at Cudgewa Creek, Beetoomba is still standing thanks to the efforts of Phil Klippel and the lack of trees surrounding it as the January 2026 Upper Murray bushfires raged through the area. It is 74.8 m long and 4.6 m high, consisting of 16 timber spans. In 2022 it suffered damage caused by flood debris.
