Founded in 2008, the Albury Wodonga Mountain Bikers (AWMTB) host regular rides as well as higher profile events throughout the year, including the June “6 hour” (Part of the Victorian Enduro Series) and the Nail Can Hill race.

Parklands Albury Wodonga thanks AWMTB members for their significant efforts and input into both designing, building and maintaining popular mountain bike track networks at the Albury City Council managed Nail Can Hill, as well as the mountain bike track networks at the Parklands-managed McFarlanes Hill and Baranduda Parklands.

An IMBA workshop was hosted at Baranduda Parklands in 2012 with members of mountain bike clubs from across the region participating in two days of theory and practical training in constructing trails to meet international best practice standards.  Parklands continues to work with AWMTB members in the establishment and maintenance of these increasingly popular mountain bike track networks.
