Seeding River Stewards

In 2008 Fosters partnered with Parklands to build community stewardship along 60km of river frontage where Parklands is the Committee of Management.

With the impetus of financial support from Fosters, the Murray River Parklands stewardship project soon expanded to include a range of long term community partners, including:

• Hume Bank – Gateway Island East
• Rotary Club of North Albury – Gateway Island Wetlands
• Bidja Bila Landcare Group – Murray Oxbow
• Smart Air – Huon Hill section of Wodonga Creek
• Lester & Son Funeral Directors – House Creek section of Wodonga Creek
• Department of Justice – Browns Island
