The Darbyshire Creek bridge at Darbyshire was lost in the January 2026 Upper Murray bushfire. This bridge was 29.5 m long and 4.15 m tall, consisting of 6 timber spans. It was in use as a crossing for cyclists and walkers along the trail, having been restored in 2015. The deteriorating decking was replaced and handrails were installed.
