As we swing from planting season into spring, Rangers and volunteers have been busy completing fences to enable environmental grazing in the lead up to summer, as well as slashing firebreaks across our regional parks.

With 12 river access points along the Murray and Kiewa Rivers having been established in recent years, we are especially grateful for this donation as it means we can expand the assistance received from Evolve Access Support Services, whose disability supported employees have been regularly mowing and brushcutting these ‘river ports’. This work provides locals and visitors with safe places to park and access riverside sections of trail that will eventually become the Murray River Adventure Trail. It also means fuel loads are better managed to reduce fire risk.
