It’s almost time to jump back into our Community Stewardship Mornings over in Albury for 2026! These weekly sessions will resume on 5 Feb at Apex Park, Lake Hume.
If you’re looking for something positive to do this year, why not give our Stewardship Mornings a go? These two-hour sessions take place in different parks, reserves, and patches of bush around the Albury area and mostly involve removing woody weeds although other invasive pests, especially garden escapees, are also targeted depending on the location. You can see all the listed events on our website.
These sessions are a great way to learn about our local environment and meet like-minded people and we welcome anyone with a passion for nature! A Parklands Ranger will help you with identifying weeds and will provide all the equipment you need.
Volunteers really are the key to the success of our projects and if you’d like to take a look at some of the work we’ve done over the past year, you can have a browse through the news stories on our website.
Thanks to Albury City Council for the financial support of this program.
