Parklands rangers had some interesting insights helping out with the set up for last weekend’s spectacular light show at Noreuil Park.

The show for the Upstream festival required setting up lights, technical support vans and equipment on the banks of the Murray River opposite Noreuil Park. This called for some very tricky manoeuvres and circuitous driving after two days of heavy rain, which instantly turned the parched paddocks around the Bhutanese Community Farm extremely wet and slippery.

Paddock level local knowledge and considered driving was needed to get through and around ditches full of water – all in pouring rain!

The effort made the light show all the more special. Our congratulations to the Upstream team from Albury and Wodonga Councils for such a terrific festival.
