We know many of you are missing your regular dose of getting out and amongst it all with Parklands rangers or your local Friends groups during this period, but as they say, ‘needs must’!

In the past week we have received advice from the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) that reinforces our message: we all need to stay home!

Parklands have postponed all organised volunteer activities and events until further notice, putting on-ground works projects on hold until we can safely get out and about again.

In the attached FAQ document, DELWP and Landcare staff have some great suggestions for things to do during ‘down’ time that will be of great use once we are all back in action: from maintaining essential gear to learning new online skills and planning future projects.

Meanwhile we can still exercise our minds and our bodies, so Parklands will keep the backyard DIY and citizen science projects coming and continue to let you in on our favourite bush trails around Albury-Wodonga.
