A big thanks to Geofabrics Australasia for donating a whole trailer load of geofabric for community and environmental works.

Geofabrics are permeable fabrics which can be used to separate, filter, reinforce, protect, or drain soils.

Over a decade ago, Geofabrics Australasia kindly donated three rolls of geofabric to Parklands. This has been an invaluable resource for a whole range of on-ground projects.

Between Parklands and our associated Friends groups, community organisations and service clubs, we put the original donation to all sorts of good uses; as garden bed liners, for erosion control on banks and for stabilising tracks and trails. The last of our supply was used last month for some track repair work.

Geofabrics Australasia responded immediately to this news, and have again supplied a generous quantity of fabric. We are very grateful for this support which will enable volunteers to undertake environmental restoration works across Albury Wodonga and region into the forseeable future.
