A big thank you to Bob Currie and The Centre for training Parklands Rangers, members of the Duduroa Dargal Aboriginal Corporation and volunteers in safe use of chemicals last week.

The 2 day ChemCert training was held at the Leneva Enviro Hub using Parklands depot as a working example.

The course was attended by Parklands Rangers and volunteers including the new Ryans Lagoon Indigenous Ranger team (DDAC) and Rail Trail volunteers. ChemCert training will be particularly beneficial for the control of invasive weeds in Ryans lagoon in the coming years, as the DDAC team take up management of the reserve.
