Murray Valley Centre volunteers were delighted to install interpretive signs along the new Kiewa Wetland Trail this week.

The Kiewa Wetland Trail features artwork by local First Nations artists. Each work is a unique creation responding to the cultural significance of features of the Kiewa wetlands.

Our sincere thanks to artists Tamara Murray, Mick Bogie, Trish Cerminara and Maggih Coates for their time and magnificent artwork and stories.

Thank you to the four Traditional Owner Groups for their input and review of these signs and the North East Catchment Management Authority for their financial support.

There are still more signs to install once the floodwaters recede from along the Kiewa River frontages.
