People are lapping up Parklands park and trail based events as our River Stewardship and community programs get back on track this year.

Focusing on new trails along the Murray and Kiewa rivers, our ‘River Habitat’ Walk ‘n Talks with Sue Brunskill and ‘Hidden in Plain Sight’ nature walks with Karen Retra are offering new sights and new insights into our local riverine environments

Designed in response to surveys in 2021-21, we are offering both weekend and weekday events throughout May and June, including more Habitat walks with Sue, Nature walks with Karen, a Cultural experience with John Murray and family friendly Night Walks with Parklands Ranger Danny Jones for the school holidays.

Our first Ranger led Community Working Bee on the river will be held on Saturday May 14th – all welcome!

Also in the pipeline are Sloanes Froglet monitoring sessions, further ‘on country’ workshops led by members of the Dhuduroa Dargal Aboriginal Corporation, bird monitoring and more with Parklands Rangers.

All events are listed on our Humanitix account, so the best way to keep up to date is to follow us on Humanitix. You can find all Parklands events listed here.

Parklands Albury Wodonga acknowledges the support of the Victorian Government and the Ross Trust for this program.
