The footbridge on the Kiewa River section of the High Country Rail Trail has this week received a new non-slip paint surface, improving safety for users.

The painted surface replaces an ageing rubber surface, which had weathered and deteriorated over the years.  Volunteers with the High Country Rail Trail’s Bonegilla Action Group this week put the finishing touches on the new surface, which is now ready for traffic.

Many thanks to users for your patience and coorperation as this work has progressed.
