One of the joys of working on high conservation value bush reserves is to be out and about in flowering season.

Not only is the weather perfect, but the soundscape of the birds busy breeding and the wild pollinators at work is set amongst some especially beautiful sights.

This week one of our highlights would have to be this field of wildflowers at a site in Oaklands where Parklands Albury Wodonga is working with the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage and Murray Local Land Services on an longer term Environmental Trust “Saving Our Species” project.

Certainly well worth taking some time out for a drive and a wander in the bush.
