The National Environment Centre will deliver an Introduction to Permaculture course at the Gateway Island Community Market Garden from December 8th.

Over eight hands-on sessions, NEC staff will work with the Bhutanese community, Rangers and market garden volunteers to demonstrate Permaculture principles and practices.

The fledgling market garden on Gateway Island will provide the perfect venue to establish a permaculture demonstration site, with garden infrastructure already in place and beds in various stages of construction.

The eight 3 hour sessions will be held over 3 months, beginning on Dec 8th. Course bookings are open and a few places remain.
