Despite the Covid19 restrictions, bushfire recovery works continue across the region.

A big thank you to farmer Fiona Roberston from Alpine Nuts in Ovens Valley for her assistance with replacing fences destroyed in the bushfire on Bears Hill, Baranduda last summer.

The burnt rolls of netting were stripped then rolled down the steep hill, to be carted off to the metal recyclers.  Everything can be reused or repurposed in some way.

If anyone has the time, volunteers are most welcome at Blaze Aid camps across this region, including Corryong and Tumbarumba. More info and signup at https://blazeaid.com.au/current-camps/
