Charles Sturt University researchers Helen Masterman-Smith and John Rafferty are seeking information from Riverina/Murray/NE Victorian communities that will help design a new app for public use.

Their survey is gathering information on people’s encounters with wildlife through our work or recreation. No experience with wildlife is necessary to complete the survey. It takes about 10 minutes, depending on your level of involvement with wildlife and citizen science.

The app will help improve responses to animal-to-human diseases (eg. covid, bird flu) and reduce species extinction.

Parklands encourage you to participate. Every response helps! The survey link is here
