Parklands staff have had several ‘Oh what a feeling’ moments this week putting a new motorised post driver to work on local fencing jobs.

This generous donation by the Rotary Club of  Albury has relieved both rangers and volunteers who have been sweating away driving star pickets by hand into very hard earth this summer. The club donated fencing gear to a number of local Landcare and community groups involved with revegetation and fencing. Parklands were very grateful to receive a new wire spinner and post driver.

A big thanks to the Rotary clubs of Albury and Wodonga and members who stepped up to organise emergency fencing whilst fires were still burning in the Upper Murray.
