Parklands Albury Wodonga staff bid Anne Stelling a heartfelt farewell on 19 December 2023.

For eight years, Anne has been our voice, writing regular news stories, promoting nature-based events and designing hundreds of interpretive signs that park visitors’ encounter across the regional park network. Anne has been a true asset to our community through her work educating, enlightening and enthralling readers and visitors alike in both the digital and physical worlds.

Behind the scenes, Anne has also worked with Mick Mowat to rebuild the Parklands Albury Wodonga website. Did you know about all the resources pages: https://www.parklands-alburywodonga.org.au/resources/

The virtual history tour: https://www.parklands-alburywodonga.org.au/explore-your-parks/gateway-island-parklands/take-the-gateway-island-virtual-history-tour/

The audio interviews with people along the Hume and Hovell walking track: https://www.parklands-alburywodonga.org.au/resources/video-audio/

Anne has shone a light on both Parklands activities and that of our many partners. She wove together so many different people, groups and initiatives, showing us that although we are working on achieving different goals, we are more connected than we may think.

Thank you Anne and good luck!
