  3. Warm welcome for new ‘Along the Bush Tracks’

The new edition of Along the Bush Tracks was warmly welcomed at the official launch last week.

An enthusiastic gathering of those with a love of our local bush celebrated the updated edition at the Albury LibraryMuseum on Thursday 25th May. The booklet was launched by Martin Driver.

Along the Bush Tracks was produced twenty years ago by the Monument Hills Parklands Association and the Albury Wodonga Field Naturalists Club, and is now in it’s third edition.  A significant additon in 2017 is Wiradjuri lore, contributed by members of the Albury Wiradjuri community. New photos and artwork, and a map with common fauna observation spots highlighted are also a feature.

Parklands are very proud to be associated with this much-loved resource. It is yet another expression of the wonderful community engagement in our region with our bush heritage.
