Last week Ranger Danny Jones helped out at another working bee by the unstoppable Wodonga Rail Trail Advisory Group volunteers.

The ‘WAG’ group have been working on the trail near the Wodonga Homemaker centre for the past 2 weeks, tackling the jobs needed to clean up the trail and restore the native vegetation in the old rail corridor. This has included some weeding, brushcutting and rubbish pick-ups.

A registered Friends group with Wodonga Urban Landcare Network, the group consists of a number of local residents who either live near the trail or enjoy the use of this great addition to Wodonga’s trail network.

The group is self-directed and organise regular working bees on the trail, doing a variety of jobs from clean-ups to planting, with support from Parklands Rangers. New members are always welcome, join here or email wodonga-rail-trail@wodongalandcare.org.au for further information.
