  3. McFarlanes Hill Trail Run – An Icy Epic

Last Sunday’s McFarlanes Hill trail run proved that the challenges of bush based running remain a mighty attraction. Despite the Antarctic winds, rain and zero visibility, 83 keen runnners turned up to slip and slide their way through mud and icy wind for the challenging 19km trail run at McFarlanes Hill.

Aaron Knight and Luke Preston notched up their second race of the series in first and second place, while Rob Sharpe came in third as a newcomer to the 2015 series. Full race results can be found at  http://www.brendanjohnmurray.com/2015/ You  might also find yourself in the brilliant collection of Simon Dallinger photo’s  in the race Gallery here.

A big thank you to Stacey and Brendan Murray for their huge efforts as Race Directors.

We look forward to seeing what the weather will throw at us for the final race in the series, Nail Can Hill on September 6th!
